Solid PROOF that people CHOOSE to be gay

1) There are no gay people in the Middle East. That’s because people there know that if they choose to be gay, they will be punished because their religion says it’s bad.
2) Gay people can’t have babies with each other. Think about your first crush in elementary or middle school, or whenever. Why did you like that person? It’s obviously only because you wanted to make a baby with him or her. Why would The Lord Our God make people who can’t reproduce like each other?
3) If people were born gay then the whole world could be born gay, and then we wouldn’t be able to make any more people, so then there would be no people. Because there are people on Earth, that means people can only be born straight.
4) There are more gay people around than there used to be. That’s because the media has more recently made it “cool” to be gay with their television shows and movies about or including gay people.
5) Men in prisons choose to have sex with each other, which means they are choosing to be attracted to other men.
6) There are absolutely no instances of homosexuality between animals. That’s because homosexuality is unnatural, and therefore a choice.
7) The first two people God made were a man and a woman. This obviously means that He would only be okay with a man and woman liking each other.
8) If people don’t choose to be gay, then why are there so many ex-gays? These people have been scientifically proven to first be gay and then not be gay anymore. What, did you think people just go deep into denial so as not to jeopardize their careers or relationships, or any other part of their lives, or that they just weren’t gay to begin with, or that they were just confused or something? It just doesn’t work that way. You can search and search the Internet all you want, and you will find zero instances of people recanting earlier claims of being an ex-gay.
9) If Almighty God wanted people to be gay, he would have given men vaginas and women penises.
10) This guy says so: [link]

Here are some of my thoughts. Do whatever you wish with them.

If you knew me in high school, you'll know that I used to be a hardcore pessimist. I pretty much hated everything and always saw the worst in every situation. I always wanted everything to be over, and I always stared at the ground when I walked because I couldn't stand to look at people, who, collectively, I hated.
But sometime between then and now, that completely changed. I realized that no matter what religion you follow, even if you believe in reincarnation, you only have this one life as the person that you are. Whether you believe that God or some God-type being or force gave you this life or that your genetic material was assembled by complete coincidence, or whether you believe in something completely different, this is the only chance you get. Even if you do believe in reincarnation, you will never be this person with this life ever ever again.
So sure, you can be a pessimist and think the worst of the world. You can go around hating everything and seeing the worst in people and situations, you can go around wasting your time and energy and life judging and criticizing and hating other people. You can let it piss you off forever when things don't work out exactly as planned, or when someone has a vastly different opinion from yours. You can grow old being sour and lonely and miserable.
Or you can look for the best in things. You can learn from and enjoy every situation in life. Even when life is at its worst, you can choose to refuse to let it defeat you, and you can be thankful for this awesome experience, this awesome life that was given to you by either fate or God or chance - who or what ever the source, it doesn't matter. You can choose to see the beauty and awe in every single thing that exists, everything that happens. You have this life, and it's completely yours and no one else's, and you can do whatever you want with it. You can make it a miserable experience or a fantastic experience. You can choose to view it in whatever light you want. You can choose to be a sad, empty shell, or you can choose to be happy. The choice is completely yours, and that's another reason why it's such an amazingly beautiful thing.

And no, I'm not suggesting you wake up with a giant smile on your face every morning, saying, "oh what a glorious day this is, I love everyone and everything and I think today I'll roll around in a puddle of kittens and sunshine because the world is so great!" And I'm definitely not encouraging anyone to always expect the best out of things or people or situations to come - on the contrary, I always expect the worst and hope for the best, that way if the worst happens, I'm not devastated, and if the best happens, I'm pleasantly surprised. All I'm saying is that you will find more happiness in life if you choose to be optimistic, to see the best in every situation, and to not hastily judge other people. And if you just try to see the beauty in everything. Because it's there. It really is. And it's overwhelming.

That's all I have to say.

SURPRISE!
